The Other Half of You(A Small Story)

It is the idea came into my mind when i went to a old barber shop in my village, Pedda Jagarlamudi (A small village in Andhra Pradesh, India.). There is only one mirror, but two scissors', and three combs. Not even a single comb is worth usable and coming to the scissors, one is looking as if it is coated with a layer of rust and the other one is as, half coated with rust.

Now, It is the mirror that made my look horrible after the final hair-cut. I could have managed the combs, Scissors, and the barber any ways, but, the single mirror that is visible little blur to have the front view. There is no second mirror to have the back view. I tried a lot but, could not make to see whats happening in the back side of my top floor.

Finally, I got something bad happened to my hair style just because of a mirror, that does not show your back view. Then i recognize the importance of back view also. There are people who think that they are very smart by just knowing the front views(strengths), but knowing the back views(weaknesses) would make you smarter.

If the front mirror for you is your self, the back mirror who shows THE OTHER HALF in you is the other people around you. So the least you should do is, just listen to others. It is more better for you, if the other person is a critic, because he can tell, the best bad things that can happen to you.

But, don't blindly follow whatever they say, because the shows your right hand on the left side, so recognize the facts and then follow. The personality development will be more depended on how good you are doing your SWOT analysis, where in S- strengths, W- weaknesses, O-opportunities, and T-threats. A frequent check on these four fundamentals are quite enough to make yourself a better one.
